I am using "inch" units for doing my machining. My part is 5 inches in diameter and 2 inches in depth.
When I use the "Compare Part/Stock Models" on my last machining operation and use a "Tolerance Band" of "0.5". I get a mostly a blue part which means that it is "more than 0.5" as per the legend.
So my question is:
What are the units used in the "Compare Part/Stock" dialog box??...it obviously is NOT inches!
Thanks!

Units for \"Compare Part/Stock Models\"??
The units for compare part/stock is whatever the current units of the part is in. Sometimes due to the geometry of the part the algorithm might give erroneous results. If you are having a problem with a specific part please send it to [email protected] for us to check it out.
