I have standard 6.0 Visualmill for Solidworks.
I put my operations under Mop Set 1. I see that I can create a Mop Set 2 under these operations.
1) How is this feature used? If I have 2 setups for one parts, can I use Mop Set 2 as the second setup? Will the mill pause after Mop Set 1?
2) Is the a way to cut and paste operations from one part to another part?
Thanks,
John

Re: Use of MOP sets
Yes, that is the idea. In 2012 we have renamed the MopSets as Setups in fact since that was the original intent. The pause will not happen unless you have coded it in the post-processor. It is best to send each setup to the machine separately if you don't know how to do this.1) How is this feature used? If I have 2 setups for one parts, can I use Mop Set 2 as the second setup? No. You can use Knowledge Bases, which essentially does the same thing, and this is available in all configurations beginning with our 2012 versions.2) Is the a way to cut and paste operations from one part to another part?
