I finally found the little check box under the parameter/cutlevels in the profiling operation which keeps the tool from being slammed down to the next level! Is there a way to set this as a global preference, rather than having to remember to click it each time? Thanks

Yes, you can save the settings to a default knowledge base. Right mouse button click on the machining operation and select "Save as Defaults". Refer to the attached document for information on default Knowledge base.
Note: This information can also be found under RhinoCAM -MILL online help.

Re: entry/exit move at each cut level
I was just trying to save my machining defaults and got an error message. I am using RhinoCAM 23 and Rhino8, the message is "failed to write to external file"
