Crashing Issue

Post by Initial Image »

I've found another instance where VM is crashing on me fairly regularly though I haven't had time to try and reproduce it. The following situation is when it seems to occur:

I've completed one side of my part and need to flip it over to work on the other side. I delete out everything from the first side that I don't need, rotate the part 180 degrees and when I go to locate it, VM dumps me out. It has happened enough that I've figured out when it happens.

Why are you deleting everything out and flipping the part? I may not understand your work flow.

This would be a great time to just set another MCS and start working on the other side.

I put a $M0 on the Comments to output so I get a machine stop and then flip the part over and go.

Doesn't explain your crash, but might be a more productive work flow?

Anybody know where I can post a sample file. This is hard for me to explain but would be easy for you to see in a file.
