MecSoft Announces
RhinoCAM & RhinoART
for Rhinoceros 4.0
Irvine, CA – March 1, 2007: MecSoft
Corporation, developer of industry
leading CAM solutions announced today
the release of RhinoCAM™ and
RhinoART™
plug-ins for Rhinoceros 4.0.
Rhino 4.0
is the most significant upgrade in the
history of Rhino, with hundreds of new
features and enhancements. Most
significant among them are improved
modeling tools, including highly
expanded mesh modeling and editing, new
translators including Solidworks™
file loading, advanced display &
rendering and 2D geometry tools.
RhinoCAM
is ideal for mold, tooling & die, wood
working rapid-prototyping and general
machining. This product packs powerful
toolpath generation strategies coupled
with tools for efficiently controlling
the cutting tool for detailed machining
capabilities, while not sacrificing ease
of use. It offers all basic CAM
functionality as well as additional
features suitable for demanding users
with sophisticated manufacturing
needs.
RhinoART
can transform any 2D bitmap image into a
beautifully sculptured native Rhino 3D
geometry. This geometry can then be
used as is or can be manipulated using
Rhino's powerful modeling tools to
create complex designs with minimal
effort.
Together these three products bring to
the desktop unparalleled geometry
creation and machining capabilities all
in one fully integrated environment.
Due to the richness of the combined
feature set, users will find this
combination a one-stop solution for all
their CAD/CAM needs.
