Senior Software Engineer
Work on CAD related projects including Solid
Modeling and Data Translation
Assist in robust CAM solutions including 3-5 Axis
toolpath generation algorithms
Work with sales & marketing to understand
customer requirements and help formulate future
product strategy
Requirements
• 3-5 years CAD/CAM software development
• Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science
• Creative problem solver
• Ability and desire to work in a small company
environment
• Strong knowledge/experience in CAD/CAM, Geometric
modeling, Computer Graphics and Math including but
not restricted to algorithms and data Experienced in
programming with C/C++, MFC and OpenGL
• Background in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
and Computer Science
• Desire to learn with the ability to take
directions without compromising intellectual honesty
• Self-starter with the ability to work
independently without too much supervision
• Ability to interact with customers to solve
customer related problems efficiently and
effectively
• Positive and optimistic attitude and desire to
work in a creative/start-up company atmosphere
Inside
Sales & Marketing Position
Do direct telephone sales in geographic areas
where company does not have reseller
representation
Perform on-line demos of products to prospects
and customers
Maintain and further strengthen the current
reseller channel for our products
Implement and monitor a reseller lead system
to insure that resellers are accepting and
following-up on leads in a timely manner.
Implement accurate monthly sales forecasting
and sales follow-up for the reseller channel
Organize bi-yearly reseller meetings
Works with channel to ensure best practices
and repeatable solutions are shared.
Develop strategies and sales programs that
maximize revenue
Tracks and analyzes our current customer-base,
competitive customer-base and future growth
opportunities to develop and implement effective
sales and marketing programs
Implement and maintain processes for prospect
and customer tracking and follow-up
Establish and maintain Communication with
Partners, OEM’s and Press
Maintain and further strength current
Educational Sales programs
Acts as a marketing connection to provide
feedback from our customers and resellers to in
support of ongoing strategy refinement and
solution development
Works with the Development team to help
coordinate and execute launch plans and activities
Requirements
• Outstanding sales abilities
• 3-5 years CAD/CAM software sales experience
• Ability to be creative and make quick decisions
• Ability to make on-line demonstrations
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering/Business
• Tool-room or machinist experience a plus
